Cowdenknowes residents to discuss road safety
RESIDENTS will raise road safety concerns at a meeting with council officials on Monday.
A local authority representative will attend a meeting of Cowdenknowes Residents’ Association and discuss fears raised after the Tele highlighted complaints about drivers speeding round a blind bend from Brachelston Street on to Old Inverkip Road.
Association secretary Ivy Siegfried said: “We have raised this with traffic police and will discuss it at the meeting.”
The meeting is in the Police Club on Thom Street at 7.30pm.
