A PORT Glasgow TV producer has landed on a job on a celebrity dating show.

Former St Stephen’s High pupil Christopher Osborne is working on ‘Celebs Go Dating’ — a reality show airing on E4 which sees a host of famous faces attempt to find love with members of the public.

Christopher, who is from Cuillins Avenue, also recently worked as production co-ordinator on the current series of ‘8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown’ for Channel 4.

Christopher said: “I’ve been quite busy recently which is brilliant.

“I really enjoyed working on ‘8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown’, it was great fun.

“There were 12 episodes and we filmed over three months.

“Lots of celebrities appeared on the show, including Kevin Bridges, Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.

“My role was to prepare for shoot day and to make sure it all ran smoothly.

“I am currently finishing up as schedule co-ordinator on ‘Celebs Go Dating’ which has been great fun, although I can’t really give too much information about that at this stage!”

Christopher recently managed a short film called Hooves of Clay, which is directed by and features Blake Harrison, star of the hit comedy TV show and film ‘The Inbetweeners’.

He added: “It was really exciting.

“It was Blake’s first time directing so it was a really collaborative experience.”

Christopher has been named on a list of 30 TV professionals across the UK as ‘Ones To Watch’ and he says he’s keen to use the experience he’s building up in London to put his home area on the map.

He said: “I’m keen to work on projects that will promote Inverclyde.”
