DETECTIVES are today hunting two men over after a car was torched in Port Glasgow shortly after midnight.
The Vauxhall Antara vehicle was set alight as it sat parked outside an address on the town's Oronsay Avenue.
Detective Inspector David Wagstaff of Greenock CID said: "A neighbour saw a male dressed in a full grey cotton tracksuit running away.
"The man is described as white, in his late teens or early 20s and of tall and skinny build.
"He was seen to meet with a man who was similarly dressed, but of heavier build and wearing a beanie hat, at the junction of Oronsay Avenue and Jura Way.
"Both men were seen to run off towards Kilmacolm Road."
The incident was reported to police at around 12.10am this morning.
Damage to the targeted car is described as 'minimal'.
