Police say 'net closing' on those responsible for robbing woman in Greenock
DETECTIVES are closing in on the people who robbed a woman in Greenock last week.
Officers investigating the attack, which happened on Ingleston Street at around 12.20am on Thursday, say they are ‘following a positive line of inquiry’.
A woman aged 25 was struck on the face and body with an unknown object and had a quantity of cash and a watch stolen during the altercation involving two other women.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
