FAMILIES flocked to Glenbrae Children's Centre to enjoy a fabulous fun day.

There were pony rides, bouncy castles, face painting and bottle stalls at the children's centre annual event.

Glenbrae youngsters were also star struck when Toy Story stars Woody and Buzz Lightyear turned up to say hello.

Depute head Carrie Murphy said: "Instead of paying for a day trip we bring all the fun to Glenbrae.

"It means that all our families and extended family can join in as well.

"It was a great day.

"The pony rides are always popular and the families had fun.

"The money we raise goes back onto the nursery."

Throughout the day mums, dads and grandparents joined in the festivities.

There was plenty of fun and games, plus raffles and bottle stalls as well.

Glenbrae is a busy pre-five centre in the town's east end, with around 100 children currently on the roll, and it also offers after-school care.
