A JOB lot of 34 properties in Inverclyde has been put up for sale with a price tag of £1.2m.

The majority of the houses up for grabs are in Port Glasgow, with 26 in total, while the rest are in Greenock.

The Port properties range from the Robert Street area, to Slaemuir, Castlehill Avenue and Glen Avenue, with a mix of sizes.

There are also two commercial premises up for grabs, in Ashgrove Lane and on Clune Brae.

In Greenock there are properties available in Nelson Street, Dempster Street and Prospecthill Street.

Cairn Estate Agency, which is based in Glasgow, is selling off the portfolio.

The advert on Rightmove states that the purchasers should be aware the properties are sold 'as seen'.

It is understood the properties could have been owned by an owner or owners who have gone into sequestration or administration

A private equity firm has since bought them, believed to be Cerberus Capital Management.

David Round, the managing director of Cairn Estate Agency, said: "The properties range from one bedroom and upwards."

Mr Round said selling properties in lots of this type is something that is now a 'regular occurence'.

He told the Tele that he has disposed of four such lots in Inverclyde already this year.
