BOYS and girls at a Greenock nursery were in fine voice at a singing and dancing workshop.
Youngsters at Gibshill Children's Centre were given a special treat to round off their recent action-packed activities week.
Entertainers from the Song & Dance Factory visited the Smillie Street nursery to lead a sing-along and a boogie woogie.
All pupils - almost 100 in total - were involved and were treated to lunch in the Gibshill Community Centre next door.
Craig Scott, depute head of centre, said: "We held it in the morning and invited all the children along.
"It was a two-hour performance and there were lots of games, singing and it was very interactive getting the kids up and involved.
"The children absolutely loved it.
"Then we had lunch in the community centre, which was a nice, social event."
The song and dance workshop on Friday June 8 brought the curtain down on the nursery's busy activities week.
Among the events taking place were sports day and a visit by coaches from Greenock Morton Community Trust.
Mr Scott says it was the perfect way to celebrate the end of a successful few days of fun and games.
He said: "Because it was such a busy week, it was a nice way to get all the children together and round off the week."
