Teen arrested after alleged attack on train
A TEENAGER has been arrested after a passenger on a train in Greenock was allegedly attacked.
A large police presence was at Branchton Railway Station on Saturday around 8pm.
A man believed to be in his 50s was taken to hospital with facial injuries following a disturbance on board the train.
Police say a 17-year-old male has been charged with assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
He is expected to appear at the sheriff court today.
