THREE men were injured after a fight outside a house party in Greenock.
The alleged incident happened at about 1.40am this morning in the front garden area of a property in Rothesay Road, Branchton.
Detective constable Scott Clark of Greenock CID said several men were involved in the altercation.
As a result, an 18-year-old man was seriously assaulted.
He was rushed to Inverclyde Royal Hospital where he was treated for a head injury before later being released.
Two other men aged 19 and 49 received minor injuries.
DC Scott Clark said: "There was a house party in Rothesay Road.
"In the front garden area, outside the house, there was an altercation between several males.
"This resulted the aforementioned injuries to the three men.
"We are appealing for any witnesses to contact us on 101 or via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
