Blythe Duff
A MYSTERY over a Taggart star’s involvement in a former Gourock bar has been solved.
Rumours have been circulating locally that actress Blythe Duff, who played the role of DI Jackie Reid in the STV show for more than a decade, had snapped up the shut down Albert Hotel.
But a representative for the TV star confirmed she has not bought the premises.
The Albert has been shut since May last year and attempts have been made to find a buyer ever since.
