POLICE and community wardens were called out to Gourock following complaints about an all night party which carried on into the next day.
Shocked bystanders looked on as four police cars and a council CCTV van arrived at the scene in Kempock Street at about 3.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
One person, who asked not to be named, said: “Neighbours said the party had been going on in a flat all night until about 3.30pm in the afternoon.
“Someone called the community wardens and when they arrived they phoned the police.
“From what I understand a policewoman was kicked which sparked a major police response.
“One gentleman who was taken out the flat by the police and another guy was also taken away by the police.”
Greenock police referred to the matter as a ‘domestic incident’ and refused to make any further comment.
