BUBBLE football and tennis were some of the fun activities children at a Gourock school enjoyed as part of their annual health and wellbeing day.

Sports champions at St Columba’s High enjoyed a day and evening of special workshops, designed to promote healthy life choices.

Some of the workshops on offer included mental health awareness, alcohol awareness, and classes to promote social, physical and spiritual wellbeing.

Parents and carers were invited to the school later that night to enjoy more workshops such as handling teenage behaviour and cooking on a budget.

The schools sports leaders were also on hand to lead sports sessions.

Also involved in the event were the Greenock Wanderers, Greenock Morton and the club’s hockey teams and Clyde Cavaliers basketball club.

Firefighters and police officers also visited the school as part of the activities.
