GRITTERS are out in Gourock trying to clear the roads following unprecedented snowfall across Inverclyde.
Larkfield Road is one of several priority routes council staff are working hard to keep clear for emergencies to and from Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
But residents are still advised to stay indoors and avoid travel.
Serious weather warnings remain in place from the Met Office and the authorities.
All public transport is currently off across Inverclyde.
