FIVE cars were damaged during a road smash in Gourock's Cloch Road yesterday.
It is understood a car hit one parked vehicle, which caused the others to collide.
Emergency services arrived on the scene shortly after 2pm and it took several firefighters to separate the cars.
An onlooker said: "The cars were like a concertina and it took five firemen to pull them apart."
The road was closed for a short time to allow police and firefighters to deal with the incident and remove the damaged vehicles.
