A PORT Glasgow care home put some vroom into their summer fete.
Local bikers turned up with some classic rides for the residents at Newark Care Home to enjoy.
And there were also some fluffy friends to keep the youngsters amused.
They were just some of the many attractions at the fundraising fete for residents, relatives and the local community.
By the end of the day they had raised £1,000 to help with day trips, entertainment and other fun activities.
Moira Roberts, Newark Care Home manager said: “We had a great turnout on the day and residents and their families thoroughly enjoyed the activities and stalls on display. We’re delighted with the amount of money raised.”
The classic motorbikes were enjoyed in particular by John Fisken and Fredrick McCabe who both used to enjoy riding on the open road.
The home also welcomed pet handlers Bunny & Co who brought a range of animals for the children to hold and pet, and there was also facepainting, beat the goalie and sponge throwing for the younger visitors.
Newark Care Home is run by Silverline Care.
