PARENTS and kids got together at Gibshill Children’s Centre as it held an end of term ‘Celebration of Learning’.
The party marked a busy period for the centre and youngsters were treated to games, dancing and party food.
Depute head of centre Craig Scott said the occasion was a lovely way for the kids to round off a successful year.
He said: “The children have been working very hard so it’s nice to celebrate that success and achievement throughout the year.
“Some of them are making the next step to the older group or starting school so had a presentation at the end.
“The kids are given books, their profiles and school ties.
“It’s nice for the parents as well, who always give us great support.
"The children even came up with a nursery rhyme alongside one of them who is a poet.”
