A POLICE investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found within a house in Greenock.
The grim discovery was made within a property in Braeside Road around 5.15pm on Saturday.
Police say they are treating the death of the 43-year-old man as unexplained.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland said: “The body of a 43-year-old man was found within a house in Braeside Road in Greenock. A post mortem will take place to establish the cause of his death.
“Police are treating it as unexplained.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
