WAVERLEY’S final sailings of the season are coming up from Greenock.
The steamer leaves Customhouse Quay on October 14 for Helensburgh, Kilcreggan and Blairmore.
And the following day she sails again from the town to visit Largs and Rothesay and then steam through the Kyles of Bute to Tighnabruaich.
The ship’s captain, Ross Cochrane, says it will be a fitting end for the 70th anniversary year.
He said: “The weekend is set to be very busy, so make sure to book your tickets in advance.”
Tickets can be bought by visiting waverleyexcursions.co.uk or by calling 0845 130 4647.
