SCOTRAIL have started testing trains between Gourock and Port Glasgow as efforts continue to resume services.
The company this morning carried out a trial run on the Inverclyde line as the area slowly gets back to normal following a chaotic two days of disruption caused by extreme snowfall.
But officials announced just before 12.30pm on Friday that all services have been suspended for the rest of the day.
Some McGill's buses are now running in Greenock, Port Glasgow and Gourock.
