Man is found dead at college

A JAMES Watt College student has been found dead at the Waterfront Campus in Greenock.

The 22-year-old man was discovered at 3.10am in the college halls of residence.

Alistair Shaw, college assistant principal, said: "Police were called to the scene and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

"Police said there are no suspicious circumstances. All our thoughts are with the family and friends of the student at this sad time."

The student was found early yesterday morning.
