SKY-ROCKETING petrol prices - that's what gets Inverclyde motorists fuelled up with anger.
So now the Tele is doing something about it.
Every day from today we will publish an updated list of the fuel prices at every petrol station across Inverclyde.
That way our readers can decide where to fill their tanks - and at what price.
The reason behind our new Petrol Watch feature is we receive countless letters and emails from local drivers who say they are fed up at having to pay higher prices than areas nearby.
For example, motorists are forced to stump up as much as 5p more than residents in Renfrewshire and Ayrshire when filling up.
Businessman Steve Goldie regularly travels down the west coast and says that prices in Ayr were 7p cheaper than at the same supermarket in Greenock and even a small town like Kilbirnie was a penny cheaper.
Steve, 49, of Wemyss Bay said: "It's disgusting - I think the people of Inverclyde and Port Glasgow are getting completely ripped off."
He says supermarkets have a major impact on prices but that prices at independent garages are also more expensive in Greenock than elsewhere, such as in Troon and Kilmarnock.
Steve, who runs a smoothie business, said: "It's so noticeable there's no competition whatsoever and people have to pay through the nose for their fuel."
Petrol Watch will be featured daily, with prices updated on that very morning we go to press.
