NOMINATIONS have closed for this year's Tele Parent and Child of the Year contest.
Now the competition is set to hot up as readers are given the power to choose their favourites.
The Tele contest, sponsored by Mothercare in Greenock, is offering the best parent and child duo of 2012 and two runners-up the chance to win more than £600 worth of top prizes.
Nominations have now closed and pictures of the contenders have been taken. Photos of this year's nominees will appear in the Tele on week beginning 16 April. Look out for them in the paper throughout the week and then get voting for your favourite.
Up for grabs is £500 of goodies from Mothercare for the overall winner, while two runners-up will also bag a family portrait worth £37.50 each - as well as a £30 voucher for some fine dining.
