LADY Alice Primary hosted an inter-schools anti-bullying poster competition involving schools from across Inverclyde.
A total of 11 schools participated with pupils tasked with designing and creating a poster to get across a positive message.
Lady Alice pupils Neil Martin and Zack Roberston hosted the event in an ‘Ant and Dec’ fashion and kept everyone thoroughly entertained while the judges were overwhelmed by the quality of the entries.
Rachael Speirs from Inverkip Primary and Emily Chan from Whinhill were runners-up, with Caroline Adams from Ardgowan Primary the winner.
Caroline’s poster is going to be professionally printed by PDC Copyprint and distributed to all schools.
Maureen Morris, Lady Alice head teacher, said: “This enterprise developed a range of skills for learning, skills for work and skills for life. The pupils involved worked co-operatively using excellent communication skills. It is certainly something that we would repeat in the future.”
