TOP Scottish folk rock group Reely Jiggered were special guest artists at the Inverclyde Voices annual concert.
A packed audience at the Beacon Arts Centre enjoyed live versions of material from their forthcoming album ‘Kaleidoscope’.
Their set included arrangements of traditional Scots songs, including ‘The Parting Glass’ and ‘John Anderson, My Jo’ as well as rocked-up Celtic Reels and eclectic world fusion beats!
Reely Jiggered are Gourock sisters Alison McNeill (fiddle and vocals), Fiona McNeill (guitar), and Scott McLean (drums), of Glasgow.
The main attraction, however, was the Inverclyde Voices choir, who put on another sterling performance, conducted by Palma Allan MBE and Gemma McLean, with accompanist Gerard Gordon.
The 100-strong choir sang tunes including ‘This Little Light of Mine’ then ‘Tears in Heaven’.
The choir and Reely Jiggered then joined forces for a stunning performance of ‘the Westlife ballad ‘You Raise Me Up’.
