VOLUNTEERS at a popular Greenock credit union hosted a special open day to mark its 30th birthday.
The Tail O’ the Bank branch on Kilblain Street opened its doors to the public and a host of special guests to help celebrate three decades in town.
Greenock and Inverclyde MSP Duncan McNeil, pictured, and the area’s MP Iain McKenzie were among those who stopped by to congratulate everyone and find out more about the organisation.
The credit union currently boasts over 5,000 members, including 2,000 young people.
Secretary Jet Gallacher said: “It’s going from strength to strength.”
