A LOCAL organisation has received a top quality award.
Inverclyde Community Development Trust was recognised for its commitment to best practice, hard work and team effort.
Staff member Fiona Macleod received the award from Learndirect at a ceremony in Leicester.
The Trust’s mission over the last 25 years has been to create jobs, remove barriers and provide services and its main role is to provide employability programmes and create local paid employment.
A spokesman for Learn Direct praised The Trust for its ‘exceptionally high and consistent standard’ in supporting and providing services to the people of Inverclyde.
He said: “In addition, performance around quality and compliance has been outstanding.
“One of our audit team commented on the fact their files where ‘some of the highest standard they have ever seen’ and this has resulted in consistent Grade 1 audits over an extended period in time.”
