A LEADING Scottish theatre company hand-picked a Greenock school to star in their new promotional video at a special one-off show.
Staff and pupils at All Saints Primary were thrilled after being asked by the renowned Hopscotch Theatre Company to feature in a new film for their website.
The school had already booked the group to perform their new Commonwealth Games themed show and head teacher Gerry Maguire was delighted when he then received a filming request.
Mr Maguire said: “They contacted me and said they would like to film the show here and use it as a promotional video for their website.
“It’s an added bonus for us.” Hopscotch performed their new show Colin’s Commonwealth Games at the Blairmore Road school just before the summer break. It proved a huge hit with pupils, who packed into the assembly hall.
They were entertained with humour, music and song and also learned about the importance of healthy eating and exercise to tie in with the Glasgow 2014 Games which are now underway.
