THE Cancer Research UK shop in Greenock town centre has picked up a tidy cheque thanks to three kind schoolgirls.
The Tele recently told how twins Emma and Cara Malloy along with their friend Erin Quigg set up a charity stall on the Esplanade, giving up time from their school holidays to think of others.
The generous Greenock girls sold items over two days, spending a total of 10 hours disposing of books and toys they no longer needed, all in aid of a good cause. They are pictured presenting a cheque for £179 to a grateful volunteer at the shop.
