FEEL-GOOD songs were belted out by members of Greenock Rock Choir as they entertained shoppers in Glasgow city centre.
Crowds swayed to the beat outside the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as the group performed songs such as ‘Mr Blue Sky’ by English rock outfit Electric Light Orchestra.
Rock choir leader Jennifer Sim said the performance was part of The Big Sing event, held to celebrate the Commonwealth Games.
She told the Tele: “It was such a hot day but the members entertained the sweltering crowd with feel-good songs.” Event organiser Katharine Barrington said spectators were impressed.
She said: “I received some great feedback from people watching.” For a free taster session or more information about the choir go to www.rockchoir.com or phone 01252 714276.
