DOZENS of youngsters are having a great time at a ‘fit kids summer camp’ being held at Dazzles dance studio in Greenock.
Organised by Christine Anderson of Inverclyde Gymnastics Club and Lynne Cameron of Graffiti Dance Troupe, the camp runs until 8 August.
It caters for three to 12-year-olds and has a full curriculum of activities such as Commonwealth sports, t-shirt designing, dance, gymnastics, trampolining, soft play, nail art, games, arts and crafts and a trip to Blair Drummond Safari Park.
A Commonwealth medal ceremony will take place at the last session.
Lynne said: “The positive reaction we have received from parents and children has been fabulous -— the children are having a great time, as are the coaches running the sessions.
“Our sessions have been very busy, and extra staff have been drafted in to help with the demand.” The next camp will take place during the October holidays, where bookings will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.
