VIBRANT volunteers have successfully grown a community flower project to help brighten up their village.
Colourful Kilmacolm is a group of local residents who got together over a year ago and set about sprucing up the area by planting an array of eye-catching flowers.
They have now transformed places like the piazza in the centre of the village, pictured, into a stunning floral centrepiece.
Teams also go out every week trimming back any dead leaves and keeping flower beds clean and tidy for residents and visitors to enjoy.
The flowers are now in full bloom.
To join the group there is an annual £5 subscription to help towards the cost of plants and other items.
Anyone who is interested can phone Peter on 01505 872448, email secretary@colourfulkilmacolm.org.uk or go to their website at www.colourfulkilmacolm.org.uk Pictured, from left to right, are volunteers Sheenagh McKerrell, Margaret Rae, Andrew MacDuff and Rosemary Nott.
