BAR staff in Greenock have ‘run’ up a huge £1,200 tab — all in the name of charity.
Workers at Chaplin’s Bar took part in the recent Inverclyde Leisure Waterfront 5k fun run in aid of Ardgowan Hospice then held a fundraising after-party at the Inverkip Street pub afterwards.
The event raised a terrific £1,200 for the hospice thanks to kind donations from staff and customers.
A cheque presentation was made at the bar on Thursday.
