A CHARITY football match has raised money to support children and young people in care.
The event was held in the Battery Park on Friday afternoon and it raised £175 for Who Cares? Scotland, a voluntary organisation which supports children in care and young people who have been in care.
Ian Lamond, a trainee administration assistant, was keen to thank everyone who donated.
He said: “It was a really good day as we had two 11-a-side teams playing which were a mix of staff and people who have been supported by us. We hold hundreds of different events for people in care so the money raised will help go towards that.”
