LEGO came alive at recent robotics workshops for children in Greenock and Wemyss Bay.
The popular Inverclyde Library events saw children create moving figures of the popular construction toy.
Angela McClelland, young people’s services librarian, said: “They learned how gears work before creating robots, such as lions, that could sit up and down. “Then they got the chance to add the sound of the lion sleeping or roaring. It’s amazing what they could do.
“With Lego, you are always onto a winner — the kids loved it.” Sessions took place at Inverkip & Wemyss Bay Library and at Greenock Central Library.
There was more Lego fun at animation sessions for five-12 year-olds using special software to create mini-movies with speech bubbles and audio at Inverkip & Wemyss Bay Library.
