PEOPLE in Inverclyde are being urged to go the extra mile to help those living with dementia.
Alzheimer Scotland is holding a Memory Mile Walk along the Esplanade to Battery Park on Saturday 20 September.
Alistair Black from Greenock is one of the people who uses the service locally, and he is gearing up for the charity event.
It costs £5 to take part and people can register online or on the day.
Sponsor forms, which are optional, can also be collected on the day.
