A badly damaged van was left wedged in railings at pedestrian traffic lights Drumfrochar Road following the collision.
No one was injured in the accident, which occurred at around 3pm.
The accident caused delays for motorists caught in tailbacks.
Police officers were on the scene to get the traffic moving again.
