RENOWNED Greenock musician Alan Beck is bringing his festive extravaganza back to the Beacon after a superb sell-out last year.
The Caledon star, along with wife Polly, will take to the stage along with guests, including hit ceilidh band Flung Aboot for the popular Nearly New Year Hogmanay Show.
The old-fashioned Scottish knees-up will start at 8pm and feature traditional song and dance, including sounds of the bagpipes and Scottish country dancing and performances from Alan, Polly and the band.
It is the ideal preparation for ‘the bells’ and is back following the huge success of last year’s show.
The show returned last year to make its bow at the Beacon after a short gap.
The set-list will be packed full of Scottish classics and barnstorming performance from Flung Aboot, who Alan describes as ‘the finest ceilidh band I have ever heard’.
