YOUNG and older people are uniting behind a project to bring festive cheer to Larkfield.
Both Youth Connections in Burns Square and an group for older women, Wishes, have come together to organise a Christmas fair.
They have spent the last few weeks creating arts and crafts that they will sell on at the Youth Connections Christmas event this weekend.
Youth worker Claire Farr said: “It is a fantastic project and we hope that it will continue year after year. We have a great partnership here in Larkfield.” There will be a range of goods on sale, including handcrafted cots and bird boxes made by the Inverclyde Community Development Trust.
The Christmas fair takes place at Youth Connections, Burns Square, this Saturday from 11am to 2.30pm.
