A CIRCUS act which was on hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent will stage an eye-opening show in Greenock next weekend.

BGT finalists Circus of Horrors bring their ‘The Night of the Zombie’ show to the Beacon on Saturday 7 February featuring a host of jaw-dropping stunts and tricks.

They stormed into the latter stages of the ITV talent show in 2011 — the year in which Scots singer Jai McDowall triumphed.

Their show then went on to become a London West End smash and now it is back to mark its 20th anniversary in spectacular style.

As well as starring on BGT, Circus of Horrors has featured on The X Factor, Daybreak, This Morning and The One Show.

It all started back at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival when it became an instant hit, touring all over the world in Europe, South America and Asia – including festival appearances with the likes of Alice Cooper, Eminem, Motley Crue, Oasis, Iron Maiden, The Manic Street Preachers, Marilyn Manson and many more.

The show has also received rave reviews from many celebrities, including Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills and TV presenter Graham Norton as well as BGT judges David Hasselhoff, Simon Cowell and show presenters Ant and Dec.

The latest incarnation –‘The Night of the Zombie’ – is set in 2020, a decrepit and corpse-ridden London plagued by zombies.

In a city ruled by the undead, the show ends with an awesome, flaming apocalypse, featuring sword swallowers, knife throwers, daredevil balancing acts, astounding aerialists, a demon dwarf and a Guinness World Record holding ‘hairculian’ hair hanging beauty, to name a few, all led by creator and ringmaster Dr Haze.
