PENSIONERS at a Greenock care home enjoyed a posh tea party.
Cakes, sandwiches and tea were on the menu at the fancy silver service event at Belleaire House Care Home.
Owners Meallmore Ltd organised the event after winning the ‘Nutrition and Eating Well’ honour at the Scottish Care Home Awards 2014.
David Howie, care home manager, said: “This prestigious award recognises the hard work and commitment shown across all the care homes in the Meallmore group and recognises that serving nutritious healthy meals should continue to be a stimulating experience.” The company’s other Greenock-based Care Home, Kincaid House, took the ‘Dementia Service Award’ and they will also enjoy a tea party.
