The bike — described as black and yellow in colour — had three ‘young people’ onboard, police say.
It collided with the elderly man’s blue Mazda car at the junction of Arran and Cumbrae avenues in Port Glasgow at around 11am on Saturday morning.
The OAP was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital but is understood not to have been seriously hurt. If you can help police to trace the bike and the people involved, call 101.
Information can also be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
