A MAN was rushed to hospital last night after an alleged attempted murder in Greenock.
The incident happened in Carwood Street at about 10.30pm.
The 30-year-old male victim was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where staff describe his condition as stable.
Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court tomorrow.
