A COLOURFUL collection of paintings depicting famous places across Inverclyde has gone on display in Gourock.

Local artist Anne McKay has launched an exhibition, ‘Wee Dinkies’, in the new Bluejay Business Centre in John Street — the former Bambinos nursery building.

It kicked off with a private viewing on Friday night and is now open to the public until 25 September.

The wonderful watercolours will also be available to buy, with Anne kindly donating 20 per cent of profits to Greenock charity Reach for Autism.

Pictured from left to right are Vicki McCarthy, founder of Reach for Autism, artist Anne McKay, and Debby Anderson, who runs Bluejay Business Centre, showing off some of the paintings in the collection.

The exhibition will be open daily from 9am to 5pm.
