POLICE say a body found this morning has been identified as that of missing Greenock senior citizen James Bradley.
Mr Bradley, who was 86, was reported missing on Friday, sparking a major search.
A planned search exercise today was called off after a man's body was found at 9.45am on the shore close to Rosneath Caravan Park.
The man has now been identified as Mr Bradley and police said tonight that his family are aware.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death, however the death is not being treated as suspicious."
