WRESTLING stars from TV will be in action tomorrow in Greenock.

Premier British Wrestling (PBW) is staging its annual ‘Maximum Impact’ show at the town hall.

Six bouts are lined up, and PBW spokesman Ross Watson says Inverclyde’s many wrestling fans are in for a treat.

Ross said: “PBW champion El Ligero from Mexico will put his title on the line against former World Wrestlling Entertainment star Rampage Brown.

“Our ‘King Of Cruisers’ match features six of the best high flyers in the UK in the one contest, with the winner being declared when one wrestler remains after the other five have been pinned or quit.

“This will be packed with excitement from start to finish, with plenty of top rope action.

“Scheduled for this match are Liam Thomson vs Stevie Xavier vs Kenny Williams vs Lou King Sharp vs Martin Kirby vs Sean Maxer.” The programme also features BT Gunn vs Jack Jester.

Ross said: “Former PBW champion and current PBW tag team champ BT Gunn will take on the most hated man in Scottish wrestling today in the form of Jack Jester, who earlier this year appeared on BBC1 documentary ‘Insane Fight Club’.

“Scottish Wrestling sensation Grado will take on Davey Blaze in a match that is sure to be full of laughs and hard hits.

“And James Scott, Wolfgang and TJ Rage will also be in action.” Tickets are available from the Beacon Arts Centre and can also be bought at the town hall tomorrow night. Doors open at 7pm.
