PORT Glasgow’s Parklea Branching Out project has received a boost from the Royal Bank of Scotland mortgage centre in Greenock.
Centre staff Amanda Deaney, Jaqueline O’Neil and Scott Delaney visited the charity and presented a donation of £976 to help towards supporting and developing opportunities for local adults and young people with learning disabilities.
The team raised cash by taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk and holding a cake and raffle stall.
Branching Out provide vocational experience and training within a horticultural environment, as well as recreational and educational opportunities for schools and other groups.
Project co-ordinator Sharon Gemmell said: “We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to RBS and their team for their continued help and support.”
