PARENTS flocked to a community open day at Rainbow Family Centre in Port Glasgow.
A whole host of different organisations were on hand to offer help and advice.
They included Inverclyde Foodbank, Community Learning and Development, Barnardo’s, REACH For Autism, a coach from Morton Community Development Trust to promote physical education, road safety representatives and iHeat.
Head of ventre Ann Marie Boyd said: “The aim of the open day was to inform nursery parents and parents in the community about what is available to to support them.”
The centre’s arts and crafts group held a sale on the day and and made a donation to the nursery.
The Healthy Start vitamins project championed by mum Caitlin McIntyre was also promoted.
And the nursery made a £20 donation to Inverclyde Foodbank though its
‘Dragon’s Den’ soup bag initiative.
