DETECTIVES are appealing for help after a fire was started outside a house in Port Glasgow.
The property in Moidart Road was targeted some time between December 8-15.
Fortunately it was empty at the time of the blaze.
Detective Sergeant Euan Keil said: “They set fire to property which would have caused danger to any occupiers if they were inside the house at the time.
“We are looking for any witnesses or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious at the property.”
Anyone with information should contact Greenock CID on 101 or alternatively ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
