A BLIND man who went missing has been found safe and well more than 24 hours after he left his Port Glasgow home.
The family of Robert Boyle were left distraught when he disappeared on Monday afternoon without saying where he was going.
The 58-year-old, of Westray Avenue, was last seen boarding a train at Port Glasgow Railway Station.
His wife Kayren was frantic with worry and made a heartfelt appeal on social media and spoke to the Telegraph in a desperate bid to find her husband who doesn’t usually go out on his own.
She added: “He didn’t say where he was going. He’s never done anything like this before.”
Police confirmed that Robert was found in Gourock last night after a widespread appeal.
His step-daughter Nicola McIntosh said this morning: “We are all so relieved he’s home and my mum is over the moon.
“We want to thank everyone for their support.”
