THE people of Inverclyde have taken recovering drug addicts to their hearts.

Residents of Jericho House in Greenock were touched by the warm response they received when they were out fundraising on the streets of Greenock and Port Glasgow.

Around 20 men in fancy dress took to the streets for a flag day on 31 May and gathered a record £2,224, which will go towards paying for them to go to national conventions.
